Since 2005, Big Oak Café has served as a community hub for good coffee, meetings with friends, and simple yet high quality food. What began as a concept to provide coffee to store shoppers grew to become a full restaurant café inside of The Butcher Shoppe—a specialty grocer in south central Pennsylvania. Over the years, Big Oak Café has grown to become an area favorite, and we couldn’t be more pleased to be part of such an amazing community.

At Big Oak Café, we proudly serve high-end espresso, along with our famous iced tea, made-to-order breakfast options, and simple yet incredibly tasty lunchtime sandwiches. When you visit us, you’ll find a large number of grab-&-go meals, sides, desserts, and drinks—ready for take-out to your home or work, or to enjoy in our newly-renovated dining area or outdoor patio. Our Product

Big Oak Café proudly serves Lenca Espresso. Roasted and supplied locally here in Franklin County, Lenca sources its espresso directly from Lenca Farms in Honduras. It is sustainable, single origin, single estate, and grown in 100% shaded micro-lots. And it tastes ohh so good when prepared fresh on-site by our café baristas!

In addition to local espresso, Big Oak brews Franklin County’s Abednego Coffee and Denim Coffee. Try them on rotation along with our own signature shoppe blends.
